The $150 billion dollar hedge fund is raising its bets that the European economy and the companies that operate in it will suffer as the energy crisis intensifies.

They cut back their short European bet to below $1 billion on the 17th of August.

Investors, more generally have also increased their bets against the euro - net short positions have hit their highest levels since the start of the pandemic.

It's clear the situation in Europe, is worsening by the day.
