Microsoft would take a near 4% stake in the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as part of a 10-year strategic partnership between the two firms, the UK bourse operator said on Monday. Microsoft will acquire shares held by a consortium made up of Blackstone and Thomson Reuters. At Friday's closing price, a 4% stake in LSEG was worth $2 billion.
